302 Lacrosse Families,
We are excited to officially announce the merging of 302 Lacrosse Club , BPG Sports, and Brotherly Love Lacrosse Club. 302 Lacrosse Club has served Delaware and the surrounding area for the past 15 years. It is an incredible privilege to help so many young people through the sport of lacrosse. We are thrilled to continue to serve the community and have an even greater impact. We are already seeing the benefits of the merger through our Spring skill sessions. We will continue to be a huge part of the day to day operations of Brotherly Love LC and serve as club directors. Our current staff will continue to help coach and oversee the teams.
BPG sports has the resources, facilities, and vision to help take our club to the next level. With the changing landscape of club lacrosse and the success of the Brotherly Love Lacrosse Club in our area, we are excited to join forces to provide our players with the opportunity to compete at the highest level.
Most importantly, we feel this move was best for our athletes, to keep all of our teams strong and competitive for many years to come. This Summer 2022, we will operate as planned out of Kirkwood Sports Complex under the Brotherly Love banner. Same coaches, same events, same practice dates… Our Brotherly Love tryout in February was a huge success, and we were able to invite several top players to each of our teams practicing at Kirkwood. This Summer, Brotherly Love, will also have teams that operate out of West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Being under BPG, we will also partner with Phantoms Box lacrosse and have the option for players to play box lacrosse in the Winter in a true box lacrosse program.
With the combination of our coaching staff, we pick up some of the best coaches in the country such as Adam Mueller, Jeff Ratcliff (both former USA and Wings coach/players) and other top coaches / players. The current Brotherly Love 2023 team has 14 Division 1 commitments due to the hard work of the players, high expectations, recruiting guidance, and training of the expert Brotherly Love staff.
We are really excited for the future and to start this new chapter with our players. We have further separated ourselves from the pack, and have created the #1 destination for lacrosse players in our area!
This coming July 18,19,20 we will hold joint tryouts with all Brotherly Love players and create top competitive teams at all age groups and skill levels.
